Reptiles That Start With U

Urban Iguanas, native to Latin America, are the first reptiles beginning with the letter U. These animals can reach over two feet in length and feed on leaves, flowers, and insects.

The Uta stansburiana, or side-blotched lizard, lives in the deserts of North America and can get up to five inches long. It feeds on small mammals, spiders, and scorpions.

Lastly is the Ugandan water cobra from East Africa; this species prefers wetland habitats where it hunts amphibians and fish for food. Reaching three feet at full size, these snakes usually show no interest towards humans.

Reptiles that start with U include Urban Iguana, Uta stansburiana, and Ugandan water cobra – creatures that share our planet which deserve respect if encountered.
