Mexican Beaded Lizards can be found dwelling in hot, dry regions, where they use their venom to catch small prey like mice and snakes.
Mud turtles, on the other hand, are quite adept at camouflaging themselves with the dark-colored wetlands near swamps, marshes and ponds. Lastly, Monitor Lizards, although quite large in size, mostly feed on insects and fruits rather than preying upon animals or humans.
These three magnificent scaly species beginning with M can be admired from a distance or even kept as pets – either way making them an interesting addition to our planet’s animal kingdom!
