Reptiles That Start With G

Geckos are easily identifiable by their large eyes, vibrant patterned skin, sticky toes, and chirping calls. They can be found in numerous regions around the world. In particular, the Galapagos Tortoise is a whoppingly large turtle species that can reach up to 400 lbs in weight and boast a lifespan of up to 150 years!

These turtles are also powerful swimmers. Meanwhile, North America is home to the Gila Monster – an electrifyingly colorful venomous lizard which prefers to stay underground or in other animals’ burrows such as those made by squirrels.

Lastly, the Green Iguana stands out with its usual green hue though some species may even be pink or blue; these iguanas have spiky protrusions along their backs and tails for protection from potential predators.
