Ocelot – These wild felines resemble housecats that have gone on an adventurous trip. With their tawny fur and black spots, these cats can often be found in habitats such as rainforests. Though they may look small and cuddly, ocelots are not suitable pets.
Okapi – Not to be confused with a giraffe, this large mammal is more closely related to zebras than other African hoofed animals. Found in Central Africa, okapis boast long necks and legs covered in reddish-brown patterned fur. Okapis have been present since prehistoric times and can survive even the most isolated parts of the forest.
Orca – The largest species of dolphin, orcas – also known as “killer whales” – are renowned apex predators of the seas due to their ability to hunt practically any creature they come across. Living in family groups of up to 40 individuals, orcas use complex forms of communication among themselves for planning hunting strategies or simply for play!
Opossum – North America’s only marsupial, opossums lead solitary lives as they travel during the night scrounging for food such as insects and fruit. Their bodies are adorned with greyish-white fur which helps them blend into their surroundings when scared; they also carry around 50 teeth which make it easy for them to consume meals!
