Birds That Start With I

Long-legged wading birds known as Ibises can often be spotted in wetlands. Featuring a curved bill and usually displaying either white or reddish plumage, these distinctive creatures make a captivating sight.

Ivory-billed Woodpeckers are also quite noteworthy; unfortunately they are endangered due to rapid habitat loss. They inhabit old forests and have striking plumage.

Meanwhile, Indigo Buntings can often be found mating during the spring season due to their sweet song drawing potential mates.
