The Hummingbird is an amazing bird, with its size allowing it to fit in the palm of one’s hand and its incredibly fast movements creating a pleasing melody. The Heron, typically found near rivers, lakes and streams, has long legs that enable it to catch small fish.
Hawks soar through the sky across the globe with their sharp talons, curved beaks and remarkable eyesight that allows them to spot prey from afar. Chickens may not appear graceful on land but prove themselves to be incredible flyers when in the air!
The colorful Hoopoe is not only attractive but also uses its long beak to collect grubs from underground while standing on two feet. The Hoatzin bird, which inhabits South America, is truly unique due to its claws located on its wings!
These are just some of the remarkable birds beginning with letter H; if you ever have the chance to explore them further don’t miss out!
