Birds That Start With G

There are many birds that start with the letter G, and let’s explore some of these amazing feathered creatures! The Galah is native to Australia and boasts beautiful pink feathers speckled with grey. They love to sunbathe in trees or even on people’s lawns and are known for their loud calls.

The Great Horned Owl, common throughout North America, is easily recognizable by its large eyes and horn-like tufts. These owls make a hooting sound while they fly during the night – a truly remarkable sight!

The Graylag Goose is found throughout Europe, Asia, and other parts of the world. These geese stand just one foot tall and have gray-brown feathers – making it very difficult to spot them amongst tall grass or dense forests – but you’ll definitely be able to hear their honking!
